Steel barrels are the core component of every dart intended for classic sisal dartboards. They influence grip, stability, flight trajectory and the overall feel of the throw. Our selection includes barrels of all shapes, weights and surface finishes from leading global manufacturers.
Unlike soft‑tip darts, steel‑tip darts feature a fixed, permanently attached metal point that is part of the barrel construction and not designed to be replaced. This type of dart is intended only for sisal dartboards and must not be used on electronic dartboards, as it could damage them.
Types of Steel Barrel Shapes
Straight barrels
- universal shape

Torpedo / Tapered barrels

Front‑weighted / Rear‑weighted
- front‑weighted – faster swing, ideal for short‑grip players
- rear‑weighted – more stable release, ideal for players gripping the dart at the back
